Two quotes

One day, a man announced to the Chofetz Chaim (Rabbi Yisrael Meir HaKohen, 1838-1933), “God blessed me with great wealth to the point where I lack nothing.”

The great sage responded, “It’d be worth your while to take time out during the day to study Torah.” The man replied, “I have no time.”

“If so,” said the Chofetz Chaim, “you are in reality the poorest person in the world. If you do not have time, then what do you have? There is none poorer than a person with no time."

Semper inops quicumque cupit (Claudius Claudianus). "Whoever desires is always poor."
